Lighthouse Studio has launched an open call for residents

Lighthouse, Brighton UK are now accepting applications for our 1 May – 31 July 2014 residency period:
Apply here: http://lighthouse.org.uk/programme/apply-for-a-lighthouse-studio-residency

Lighthouse Studio is an interdisciplinary space for a small group of residents from the fields of digital culture and art, design, technology, science, film and the wider creative industries. The studio is intended to nurture the research, development and production of new work at the intersection of these different sectors, and to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange of knowledge, skills and ideas.

Residents collaborate closely with the Lighthouse team and have the opportunity to feature in our wider programme, which includes talks, events, workshops, exhibitions and interventions. They are encouraged to share their work and interact with our regional, national and international network of collaborators from across the spectrum of digital culture.

We will be running three residency periods over the next twelve months. Each will last approximately three months, and will host four or more residents. Residents will be selected both for specifically funded studio projects, and through open calls issued at different points during the year. We’re also looking for opportunities to develop funded or commercially sustainable projects with residents after their initial period in the studio.

Application deadline: 5pm, Wednesday 26 March 2014.
