I have found this company really helpful when looking at iPad access. They are based in USA but ship to UK, they also offer great tips and other case by case advice.

Good points. I have put some advertised costs in below.. I think the switch you mean James is the Impulse which Ablenet have stopped selling - would like to know if it is available elsewhere!

(I should clarify too - EMG or Piezo like switch - I do realise I'm being a little loose with the term.. )

- PluxSwitch: http://www.plux.info/,  £??? But needs the PC.
- EMGSwitch: http://emgswitch.com, $2100 USD
- Twitch switch: http://independent-life-technologies.co.uk/Home_page/CapabilitySwitches/Hand_Finger_And_Body_Switches.html, £202.80 GBP
- Sound operated switch – with a Piezo muscle switch.:http://www.inclusive.co.uk/sound-operated-switch-p5307, £179
- NeuroSwitch: http://neuroswitch.net/, $17,000 USD (approx) ?Needs a Mac
- Brainfingers: http://brainfingers.com/, $1498 USD (But needs a PC/Mac)
- Ablenet Impulse Switch: http://www.ablenetinc.com/Assistive-Technology/Switches/Impulse-switch, No longer Available
