State Dept. seeking ways to keep access open to Iraqi Jewish Archive | Jewish Telegraphic Agency WASHINGTON (JTA) -- The U.S. State Department is seeking avenues to make the Iraqi Jewish Archive continually accessible to Iraqi Jews living outside the country. Until now, the State Department had been adamant that the archive, transferred to the United States for expert restoration, be returned to Iraq in June. A statement sent to JTA on Monday by the State Department's press office said the "sensitivities" surrounding the archive were spurring the department to seek alternatives. http://bit.ly/Oz2a87 Source: http://www.jta.org/2014/03/17/news-opinion/united-states/state-dept-seeking-ways-to-keep-access-open-to-iraqi-jewish-archive See if people are clicking on this link: http://bit.ly/Oz2a87+ Try the bitly.com sidebar to see who is talking about a page on the web: http://bitly.com/pages/sidebar -- Peter Kurilecz CRM CA IGP [log in to unmask] Dallas, Texas Save our in-boxes! http://emailcharter.org http://twitter.com/RAINbyte http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/RAINbyte/ http://paper.li/RAINbyte/rainbyte http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/archives/ http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/records-management/ http://www.linkedin.com/in/peterakurilecz Information not relevant for my reply has been deleted to reduce the electronic footprint and to save the sanity of digest subscribers Contact the list owner for assistance at [log in to unmask] For information about joining, leaving and suspending mail (eg during a holiday) see the list website at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=archives-nra
