An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Statistician to join the prestigious Unilever’s Research and Development Facility, near Port Sunlight, Wirral. This is a temporary position for a period of 12 months. The rate of pay will be in the region of £27,300- £39,000 per annum, working 37.5 hours per week. ROLE PROFILE The role holder will be working closely with project teams and scientists to manage the statistical content of projects. Deciding on appropriate design and analysis approaches. Programming the analysis and presenting and reporting the results. Providing support to colleagues in Data Science team Supporting Team leader with ad-hoc enquiries as appropriate. Enhancing programming skill within Data Science team. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Ideally you will possess a Postgraduate qualification in Applied Statistics (or equivalent). Must have proven practical working experience in applying statistics. Experience in the area of Consumer and Sensory Research is desirable. Advanced IT skills in particular working knowledge of a mainstream statistical package such as R , SAS or STATA. Ability to work as part of the team and individually. Enthusiastic individual who is interested in applied statistical problems .
