Dear colleagues -
I would be very grateful if you could forward this information to potentially interested candidates:

***
This autumn, the University of Leeds School of Sociology and Social Policy (SSP) in collaboration with Leeds University Business School (LUBS) is launching a new 1-year MA in Work, Care and Migration.

This interdisciplinary MA programme is led by Prof Sue Yeandle and brings together the expertise of staff in the Centre for International Research on Care, Labour and Equalities (SSP), the Centre for Employment Relations, Innovation and Change (LUBS) and from across the University of Leeds. It offers an exciting opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge in work and employment, care, and migration studies, with the opportunity of contributing new ideas and to consider options for policy and practice in communities. Students wishing to progress to doctoral studies will have the option to undertake modules needed to pursue their PhD at Leeds.

More information on the programme: http://www.sociology.leeds.ac.uk/postgraduates/postgraduate-taught/ma-work-care-migration

Entry requirements: All applicants should have or expect to obtain a good honours degree (upper second class or first) or its equivalent in Sociology, Social Policy or a related discipline.

Application is now open: All taught courses begin in September 2014. There are no deadlines for making an application for a place, although it is advisable to apply before the end of July. It is advisable for international applicants to apply early (latest May- early June) in order to secure a UK study visa.
