Dear All,

I am looking for information about finding of bony remains of turkey
*Meleagris gallopavo*) previous to the 18th century in Europe.

In these moments I am studying the fauna proceeding from an archaeological
excavation realized in Sabadell (Barcelona)and in her I have identified 

some bones of this bird. They seem to date back of between the second half 

of the 16th century and beginning of the17th century.
