An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Documentation team for someone to join as a Knowledge Manager. This new role will take the lead for the planning and implementation of best practice information, knowledge and records management procedures for all relevant datasets. In order to enable the smooth running of the department the post holder will also take responsibility for the management of departmental information, and the compilation of reports, statistics and other evidence as required.

This post will work and coordinate across a number of teams, therefore it is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels. With a degree and/or postgraduate qualification in librarianship, knowledge, records or information management (or similar), the ideal candidate will also have an in-depth knowledge of information management principles and their application across a variety of uses.

This post is based in Central London (nearest tube station is Tottenham Court Road), however will require occasional reimbursed travel to the BFI National Archive, Berkhamsted.
