Hi Catalin, Not quite the answer to your question, but do you actually care about users' roles on the WMS ? Because I gave up long ago and I now have: "/mice/ROLE=lcgadmin":::sgm: "/mice/ROLE=production":::prd: "/mice/*":::: "/mice":::: in my groups.conf and MAP_WILDCARDS=yes in the vo.d/vofile for every single VO and my users have never been happier (not that that's a particular achievement).
