THE ASSOCIATION FOR GERMAN STUDIES IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND CONFERENCE 2014

 

Dear colleagues,

 

The seventy-seventh conference of the Association for German Studies in Great Britain and Ireland will take place on 9-11th April 2014 at the University of Manchester. Full details of the programme and the venue, as well as the registration form, can now be downloaded from:

The deadline for receipt of registration forms and full payment is Friday 7th March 2014.

 

The lead panel for the conference will be Re-Thinking Brecht, with further panels on History and Remembrance, Linguistics, Gender Studies, Translation, Postcolonial Studies, Medieval and Early Modern Studies, Eighteenth-Century Studies, Nineteenth and Earlier Twentieth Century Studies, Twentieth-Century and Contemporary Studies, Contemporary Austrian Literature, Film and Cultural Policy, and a panel by the Swansea Centre for Contemporary German Culture on Grass' Unkenrufe (1992).
