Launched in November 2012, Rowman & Littlefield International is an independent academic publisher focusing its publishing in the disciplines of Philosophy, Politics & International Relations, Cultural Studies and Economics.

We publish monographs, edited collections and supplementary titles, for a scholarly and advanced student audience, representing the latest research in some of the most exciting areas of Philosophy. We will publish around 40 titles in 2014, including The Opacity of Narrative by Peter Lamarque (York) and Making Sense of Heidegger by Thomas Sheehan (Stanford).

We are particularly interested in projects in the field of Environmental Philosophy. We welcome new book proposals, so if you have an idea for a project, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We are also keen to develop partnerships, both formal and informal, with department, societies, associations and centres of excellence, as well as communities and networks of academics in particular areas. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions.
