The call for abstracts for the Fifth STS Italia Conference is close to deadline.

Abstracts must be submitted in English or Italian through the conference website by February 15, 2014. Communications of acceptance or rejection to authors will be sent by March 15, 2014.

The international conference entitled A Matter of Design: Making Society through Science and Technology will be held June 12 to 14 2014 atPolitecnico di Milano. The conference is articulated in 24 autonomous thematic sessions, each one focussing on a different topic, and organized in 6 main areas of interest.

STS Italia provides to its members 10 scholarships for talented PhD students, post-doc and non-tenured academics, covering registration fees, accommodation (2 nights) and social dinner. Details will be available after the 15th of February.
