Hello,

I just found an interesting thread which discusses this kind of error. There was a bug in the xcb code which meant that when some counter reached its maximum value you hit this issue. This was in 2009 so it was fixed long ago.

https://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/xquartz-dev/2009-April/002252.html

which leads to:

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20254

and then to:

http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xcb/2009-January/004247.html

If you follow that thread forward enough it says that something is seriously wrong if the counter reaches its maximum value, but we aren't coding to X11 directly but only via Tk, but maybe Analysis is doing too much of something.

(It's not clear to me when xcb is used by the OS and when it is not, so that is another issue.)

What OS version are you on?

Wayne
