I'm writing to let you all know about the conference for the British Association of International and Comparative Education (BAICE), details below. We'd welcome papers related to Nepal with a focus on education, skills, youth studies, etc:

The BAICE conference committee invites proposals for presentations at
its 2014 Conference: - Power, Politics and Priorities for Comparative
and International Education (8-10 September), which will be held at the
University of Bath. 

Presentations at the conference should discuss original research or
analysis related to comparative and international education and related
fields (e.g. international development education, intercultural
education, youth and childhood studies, adult and vocational education,
etc).  We invite submissions in two formats:

*Individual paper abstracts: *Individual paper presentations given by
one or more authors.  Abstracts should be up to 250 words and submitted
by *25 April 2014*. Individual papers will be grouped into thematic
sessions based around the conferences’ thematic strands:

- Politics, methodologies and international comparisons
- Internationalising curricula and contexts
- Language, identity and ideology
- Conflict and ideas of justice
- Human development and education for all
- Skills in the global political economy
- The transformation of global governance

*Symposia and Panels (Deadline 28 February):*  Groups of up to six
presentations or an extended panel discussion, film or other session on
a given theme. Abstracts should be up to 250 words and submitted by the
symposium convenor/chair with a deadline of *28 February*.
All submissions will be double blind-reviewed, and the conference
committee will respond within three weeks of the closing deadline.  For
