Emily Lonie is one of the few people in Coquitlam who can tell you the contents of a police logbook from the early 1900s.

Lonie is Coquitlam's new archivist, and she's in the unique position of building a city archive from scratch.

That point was one of the selling features that drew Lonie away from her hometown of Ottawa, where she previously worked for Library and Archives Canada.
