Paramount Recruitment is recruiting a Statistician to contract for a Pharmaceutical based at their Head Office in Basel for a 12 month contract with a possibility of an extension.

The successful Statistician will be responsible for non-clinical safety study design and statistical analysis of the data generated in these studies. Typical tasks include the design of experiments and development of new assays sample size estimation, general exploratory data analysis, the review of current experimental and data analysis practices.

Key Responsibilities:

·         You will provide specific statistical consultancy on request and take part in the training and education of scientists on fundamental statistical principles.

The successful Statistician will have:

·         MSc in statistics

·         At least 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical development and clinical research

·         Excellent problem analysis/solving skills and ability to investigate complex data in an exploratory way

·         Proficiency in statistics tools  and adequate general  IT and programming skills

·         Fluent in English, good oral and written communication skills.

This role would essentially be for 12 months with the view of being extended.
