Dear Mailbase,

Following a recent spate of low PTH results for samples which took over 24 hours in transit to the laboratory, I would be interested to receive a copy of your policy for processing/rejecting old samples.
For example, would samples for measurement of PTH be rejected if they are over 24 hours old on receipt? Potassium over 8 hours? Etc. I'll collate any information received and report it back to the mailbase.

Regards,
Jinny Jeffery
