Digital Engagement Manager

Salary will be in the range £37,756 to £45,053 plus £2,323 London Allowance

 

The department is responsible for the delivery of marketing, communications and fundraising strategies in support of the IOE’s strategic objectives. We also provide specialist advice for academic and professional support departments across the organisation. The department consists of four teams: Communications, Development & Alumni Relations, Digital Engagement and Marketing.

 

Your key role will be to develop and implement a digital engagement strategy in support of our execution of the IOE’s strategic objectives. This will involve leading and project-managing key web development projects, including the creation and development of a new IOE web site and overseeing the Institute’s externally-facing digital ‘estate’, including www.ioe.ac.uk, IOE microsites, social media channels and mobile initiatives.

Managing the Digital Engagement team, you will also be responsible for setting and monitoring performance indicators for the IOE’s digital activity.

 

You will have substantial experience in leading and managing large-scale web development projects and overseeing the management of web sites and social media channels. An ‘expert’ in current web and CMS software packages, you will also need excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure; and the ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally.
