!!! LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER !!! Dear Experts and Young Fellows, We organise the 15th Neuroanatomy and Tractography Workshop in Tenerife between 24 and 27th February, 2014 at Guajara Campus, University of La Laguna. This workshop is intended to help scientists to familiarize with fundaments of white matter anatomy, improve clinico-anatomical correlation, and optimization of the best strategies for diffusion acquisition, processing and tractography dissections. Advanced spherical deconvolution tractography will also be discussed. The participants will be able to work on their own datasets (if available, otherwise training data is provided) and hands-on tutorials will be provided. The workshop is geared towards Master’s and PhD students, post-doctoral trainees, research assistants and clinicians with a Neurology, Psychiatry, Psychology, Radiology or Computer Science background. You can register on our website www.natbrainlab.com With kind regards, michel NEUROANATOMY DTI WORKSHOP 24 - 27 February 2014 Monday, 24th February VISUALIZATION OF WHITE MATTER CONNECTIONS 16.00-16.30 Welcome 16.30-17.00 Brain Hodology: From postmortem dissections to diffusion MRI (M Catani) 17.00-18.00 Introduction to Diffusion Tensor MRI (F Dell’Acqua) 18.00-18.15 Coffee Break 18.15-19.15 Diffusion Tensor Tractography (F Dell’Acqua) 19.15-20.30 DTI data formats: Management and pre-processing (M Thiebaut de Schotten) Tuesday, 25th February VIRTUAL IN VIVO DISSECTIONS (part I) 16.00-17.15 Tractography with TrackVis (M Thiebaut de Schotten) 17.15-17.45 Classification of white matter connections (M Catani) 17.45-18.00 Coffee Break 18.00-20.00 Association Pathways (M Catani) Wednesday 26th February VIRTUAL IN VIVO DISSECTIONS (part II) 16.00-17.15 Commissural Pathways (M Thiebaut de Schotten) 17.15-18.30 Projection Pathways (M Thiebaut de Schotten) 18.30-18.45 Coffee break 18.45-20.00 Beyond the limitations of tensor modeling (F Dell’Acqua) Thursday 27th February ADVANCED TRACTOGRAPHY: APPLICATIONS AND FUTURE DIRECTIONS 16.00-17.00 Visuospatial networks (M Thiebaut de Schotten) 17.00-18.00 Frontal lobe networks (M Catani) 17.45-18.00 Coffee break 18.00-20.00 Supervised Dissection 20.00-20.30 Conclusions (M Catani)
