Dear experts, I have run a 2x2 flexible factorial design in SPM (repeated ANOVA) - I have attached my design matrix in this email. I have 25 subjects. 1) I was wondering if you could kindly check if my contrasts are correct (I am not sure if I need to something other than zeros in the subject columns). All of them are F-contrasts (I believe). - Main effect of condition: 1 -1 0 0 0.5 0.5 -0.5 -0.5 zeros(1,25) - Main effect of task: 0 0 -1 1 -0.5 0.5 -0.5 0.5 zeros(1,25) - Interaction condition x task: 0 0 0 0 -1 1 1 -1 zeros(1,25) - testing brain activation in condition 1: 1 0 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0 0 zeros(1,25) - testing brain activation in task 1: 0.5 0.5 1 0 0.5 0 0.5 0 zeros(1,25) - testing interaction between condition A1 and task B1: 1 0 1 0 1 0 0 0 zeros(1,25) Are these correct? 2) Also, how could I investigate common brain areas of activation in task A in both conditions?
