You can multiply the beta image by the canonical HRF. The canonical HRF is
stored in SPM.xBF.

If you think the shape of the response varies by task and brain region as
the duration of the neural activity is different, then you might want to
consider using an FIR model instead of assuming a response.

You can also plot the PSTH in SPM. This is described in the manual.
