SHARE SYSTEM AND SERVICE MANAGER Highways Agency Salary: £25,305 - £28,209 Location: Leeds Status: Permanent Ref: DFT/660/13/HA If you combine a strong customer focus with proven leadership skills, this is a chance to join a high profile organisation offering excellent benefits and career development opportunities. Based in our Finance and Business Services Directorate, the Information Policy and Security team provides a clear policy advisory service, including data handling and information security requirements. You'll manage the Agency's electronic document and records management system [SHARE], working closely with the IT to drive continuous improvement and realise business benefits. Key tasks will range from day-to-day management of the service, leading a team and acting as a source of expert advice to ensuring the contract provides value for money, identifying key functional system developments and creating system workflows to support business processes. The role calls for a recognised qualification in computing science or information/records management or equivalent experience in a statutory organisation. A strong record of delivering outcomes in a customer-focused organisation and demonstrative expertise in process mapping and automating systems will be essential. We'll also expect a knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Data Protection Act and standard office software.
