The DWP (work and pensions) are asking for information about a pensioner from 2003 for details of their pay and increases since then. This would normally be destroyed with the payroll information after 7 years.  Are other organisations aware of how long back the DWP is asking for information.  I can find nothing that suggests we need to keep payroll this length of time – what are other organisations doing?

Many thanks

Carey
