Evolving Science Communication: 10 years of science communication at UWE

In 2014 we are delighted to be celebrating the ten year anniversary of science communication postgraduate programmes at UWE. Further to our first Evolving Science Communication conference held in 2009<http://eprints.uwe.ac.uk/11042/1/Evolving_Science_Communication_report_Sept_2009.pdf> , in 2014 we will be providing an additional conference opportunity, specifically aimed to provide a platform for discussion between experts in both the practitioner and academic communities.

The one-day conference will be held on Friday 4th April 2014 at the Watershed<http://www.watershed.co.uk/> in Bristol, UK including presentations on the latest national and international trends, presentations from our graduates, and opportunities for delegates to present their latest, ideas, projects and research. The programme<http://www2.uwe.ac.uk/services/Marketing/research/pdf/Science%20Communication%20Unit%20-%20SCU/Evolving-Science-Communication-Conference-Programme-January-2014.pdf> details events over the day, and has been designed in partnership with our graduates, to reflect the most contemporary thoughts and issues facing the field.

To submit a PechaKucha presentation, poster presentation or to register to attend the conference please visit our conference webpage<http://www1.uwe.ac.uk/research/sciencecommunicationunit/trainingandshortcourses/evolvingsciencecommunication.aspx>.

We are also now recruiting to our postgraduate Science Communication programmes.
