Ever been for a TV screentest which you thought went very well and then
never heard back? Or had a great conversation with a TV producer over the
phone but no follow up? Or maybe you have - what you're convinced - is a
great idea for a programme but no-one seems interested? If you want to
understand why this happens, read on.

The TV Idea to TV Show: Understanding the Development Process seminar will
cover everything from schedules and budgets to what commissioners are
looking for and the challenges TV production companies face when they're
developing and pitching ideas. Time permitting we can also discuss your
programme idea and find out which boxes it ticks - and doesn't tick.

The seminar will be presented by Claire Richmond, producer of some of TV's
most popular shows including BBC's Changing Rooms, Ready Steady Cook & Don't
Get Done Get Dom and founder of findaTVexpert.com
<http://www.findatvexpert.com/> , the online database of experts for members
of the media on the hunt for talent.

Date: Tuesday, 4th March
Time: 5-6pm
Location: The comfort of your office or home.

The seminar is free and it's online - all you need is a computer and a
headset (or a phone). But places are limited (15 max) and must be booked in
advance.
