Essentially no, but there is the possibility of minor amounts of 
copper being present, even perhaps (tongue in cheek) gold.

The iron deposits at Combe Martin and eastwards into Trentishoe 
parish are at the same geological horizon as those in the Barle 
valley near Simonsbath (Wheal Eliza) worked ostensibly for copper in 
the mid 19th century. The latter was a failure as a copper mine but 
there must have been sufficient present to initiate the working. 
Wheal Eliza did not quite jump on the gold 'band wagon' in the 1850s 
but was monitoring the situation.

Further south, at a higher, later horizon in the Devonian rocks, in 
the area around Heasley Mill in the Mole valley, gold is present in 
the gossan associated with the copper / iron deposits - but I'm not 
aware that any stream sediment analyses have been done in the Barle 
to verify if gold is present in the deposits worked at Wheal Eliza.
