Hello there,
They should be able to say in English "It's" or "Its", then without the "I", they need to say "ts"....
At least it works with my students, however, some of them say "Kai" by just looking at the spelling C-A-I.... :-)
Kind regards,
Sophia

This is based on the recent assessment on the translation,
they will spend this term to practise on it so she will get it improved.
I think I am happy for her general progress and I predict her a A for the real exam. Please tell her not to worry about it.

Dear all:
It seems my current Year-7 pupils have a problem pronouncing '菜‘ (I have never had this problem in the previous years). Instead of saying '菜’,they say '在‘ or 's dai'. Does anyone have good ideas to correct them?
Many thanks!
Juan
