SLA and SLA Europe are currently offering a number of awards to help
library and information professionals attend the SLA Annual Conference in
Vancouver.


*Joe Ann Clifton Student Award:*


SLA's IT Division is pleased to present the *Joe Ann Clifton Student Award*
. This award is intended to promote participation in the SLA Annual
Conference by an exceptional library science student. The award recipient
will receive a 1-year student membership in SLA and expenses to attend the
annual conference in Vancouver.


The deadline for applications is 28 February 2014. For more information,

*ECCAs 2014:*


SLA Europe is currently taking applications for the *Early Career
Conference Awards 2014*. This year we are offering three opportunities for
European library and information science students and new professionals to
attend the 2014 SLA Conference.



The deadline for applications is 14 February 2014. Winners will be notified
in March 2014.
