*apologies for cross-posting* ARLG Eastern is offering a bursary of £100 for an ARLG member in the Eastern region to put towards attendance at the ARLG 2014 conference, from 23 to 25 June 2014. The deadline for application has been extended to *Monday 3rd February 2014* More details: The ARLG 2014 conference is called "The final frontier: to boldly go where you have never been before", and will cover themes including resource discovery, shared services initiative, learning spaces, research support, and continuing professional development. Eligibility: Applications are welcomed from all relevant sectors but applicants should be CILIP and ARLG members, and should live or work in the Eastern region. How to apply: Applicants should provide a statement of up to 500 words outlining how their attendance at the ARLG 2014 conference will impact upon their professional development and how they will share this with others in the Eastern region. The statement should be emailed, along with the applicant's name, email address, and CILIP membership number, to [log in to unmask], by the closing date of Monday 3rd February 2014. The winner of the £100 bursary will be announced at the ARLG Eastern AGM on 20th February 2014. Conditions: Applicants will be responsible for meeting the remainder of the cost of ARLG 2014 themselves. The bursary will be granted on receipt of a report on the conference, for an agreed publication.
