UKeiG would like to remind students (and lecturers who can pass the news on!) in UK schools or departments of librarianship, information studies, information science, knowledge management or information management running courses accredited by CILIP that UKeiG offers help with the costs of attending conferences. UKeiG may not pay your full costs as we set aside only a limited amount each year for this award - but if you want to go to a relevant conference such as LILAC (http://www.lilacconference.com/WP/ Sheffield, 23-25 April), or even one of CILIP's Executive Briefings we may cover your travel costs or your entrance fee. It's certainly worth asking! Just send an e-mail with the subject line 'UKeiG Student Conference Awards', to <mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask] detailing the benefits to be gained from attending the conference, as well as details of the conference, including date and place, and the costs that you would like covered.
