Dear colleagues,

the Institute for German Studies at the University of Birmingham warmly invites you to the next event of its major research project
"Weltanschauungen. The German Past and the Contemporary World: The Domestic and Foreign Politics of Memory".

We are delighted to welcome Professor Eric Langenbacher from Georgetown University, Washington DC, to Birmingham.
He will share his thoughts on

"Does Memory Still Influence German Foreign Policy?"

Dr Eric Sangar from the University of Stuttgart will serve as discussant.

There will then be an open discussion, followed by a wine reception.
