Please may I bring to your attention that the Early Bird delegate registration rates for the North Atlantic Craton Conference are coming to an end on Wednesday 15th January

The organizing committee of the ‘NAC Conference 2014’ would like to invite you to participate in a two day event on craton-specific mineral targeting, utilizing the North Atlantic Craton (NAC; Labrador, Greenland and Scotland) as the area of interest. The conference will be held 20th – 21st March 2014 (icebreaker 19th March) at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. In addition, please also note that the abstract deadline (oral and poster presentations) for the conference is 21st February. Abstracts should be a maximum of 1 page A4, and a template is available on the home page of the website.

6). Gold potential of the NAC (Keynote: Prof. Richard Goldfarb, USGS)

 

7). New developments and discoveries in exploration

 

8). Applied mineralogy (Keynote: Prof. Sarah-Jane Barnes, University of Quebec)

 

9). Future exploration and potential for academia-industry collaboration


10). Break-up of the NAC - effects of the opening of the Atlantic and Labrador Sea.
