Hi Everyone

 

Is anybody able to help me with what to do regarding the new BTEC firsts? I am used to the traditional BTEC courses but the new BTEC qualifications which include exams are all new to me. 

 

The main one I’ve got a problem with, at the moment, is Art & Design.  I can download this year’s exam paper now and the learners have 20 hours prep and 10 hours exam time but do the exams need to be invigilated?  Does the lecturer have to keep the paper in secure conditions?  Do I have to send the final work off to be marked?

 

Basically I need an idiots guide of what to do.  I have tried using the website but it’s not clear of what the step by step process is.  I have rand Edexcel and simply got told “I’m not sure, check the JCQ regulations”. L

 

I’d be really grateful if anyone could advise me.
