Thanks Janet
I think after trialling it this year we will go down that route next year.

Hi Elaine
We sent our certificates 2nd class normal post and not recorded. We keep a record of the date they were sent, and if any go missing we advise the students to make a claim with Royal Mail. We supply them with the details of posting to enable them to do this.

Hi Chris
We are looking at going down the second class post route. We tried asking them to collect their certificates during December this year after sending the students postcards and emails. Approximately a third have been collected and the rest are due to be posted this week recorded delivery.
When you say second class is this just normal post or recorded? If normal post do you have many that go missing?
Thanks
Elaine

Hi Susan,
We post ours out second class. We used to have a system where we sent a letter to the learner inviting them to collect or asking them for payment if they wanted the certificate posted (special delivery), but this left us with large numbers of uncollected certificates and the subsequent storage problems.

I’m sure this question may have been raised in the past but could you let me know how your students receive their certificates, do you post them out or do they come into college to collect?
We are currently reviewing our processes and would appreciate any suggestions.
