Dear all,

At its AGM last July, EFPA (the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations) decided that Community Psychology should become one of its Standing Committees, a recognition of the work of the taskforce of 2011-13 and the potentially useful role that CP might play in developing psychology in the EU of the future.

As the BPS rep on the EFPA SC, I was tasked with getting in touch with people in Ireland and the Netherlands, to see whether there was any potential for the involvement of a country representative from each of those countries on the SC. We want to expand our representation of ECPA members, since at present Italy, Germany, Norway and the UK are the main voices, with some input from France, Greece, Turkey and Portugal.

This email is to ask whether anyone knows of community psychologists in either country (Ireland or the Netherlands) with whom I might get in contact? We’d also be interested in contacts from Eastern Europe. Please respond to me off-list by emailing [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>

All the best,

Jacqui
