We are seeking to appoint a research associate within UCL's Department of Information Studies to join a large, multidisciplinary programme on the use of administrative data in research as part of the Administrative Data Research Centre, England (ADRC-E), funded by ESRC. The main purpose of this post is to undertake research activities to support the work of ADRC-E by research into requirements for information governance which ADRC-E should reflect in its national e-infrastructure policies and practices. The appointment will commence on 1 April 2014 part time (0.5FTE) or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is currently funded for 36 months in the first instance, grade 7 (salary range £32,699 - £39,523 per annum (inclusive of London allowance.) Salary pro-rata 0.5) Candidates should have a doctorate in the broad field of information studies including archives and records management (or be near completion) and an excellent record of research. Experience of high quality academic research and a subject background in information management, excellent research, writing and presentation skills are all required.
