We preserve and celebrate our heritage at the purpose-built Michael Marks building at the University of Leeds, which opened to the public in March 2012. The building houses the archive repository, a reading room, seminar room, staff office and the Marks in Time Exhibition, which showcases highlights from the archive collection to enable visitors to learn about and engage with the very best of M&S – past, present and future.

 

This vacancy arises to provide cover during the Company Archivist’s period of extended leave. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in archive or museum management, preferably in a business environment, strong management skills and the ability to deliver excellent services both to the business and to the public, to manage the Company Archive on a 12 month fixed term contract.
