INFORMATION REQUIRED PLEASE
In 2013 there has been an increase of 21% in the number of applications to the Federation Small Grants Fund and grant requested has risen by 33% over 2012 (which itself showed an increase of over 10% in both categories over 2011). We understand this type of increase is not mirrored in the larger Innovation and Development Grants provided by CyMAL.
There is significant pressure on the amount of funding available so the Federation needs to know why applications for the small grants are increasing at such a rate, and also why you value this fund so much. There are similar increases to our Training and Development Grants. Why are applications for small grants increasing but not the bigger grants?
Any evidence or comments would be really helpful for future development of the grants.
