Let me recommend an older album (1965), which may not now pass muster with early music specialists but which is exclusively dedicated to medieval English carols (12th-16th century): Now Make We Merthe: Medieval English Lyrics, Rounds and Carols by the Purcell Consort of Voices and including that early, early music specialist, the late David Munrow.  Here's a link to it at Amazon.US, which contains its program:
