Dear London Cosmologists, A quick reminder that the next LCDM will take place next week on Thursday 12th Dec at 2pm at the RAS. The topic will be "Large Scale Structure". The speakers have been primed to provide plenty of background in order to be accessible to non-specialists. The talks will be 25 mins (or shorter!) + discussion. The speakers and topics are: Tom Kitching (UCL/MSSL): "LSS with Imaging Surveys" Andrew Jaffe (IC): "Optimising surveys with sparse random sampling" Ofer Lahav (UCL): "The Dark Energy Survey" Boris Leistedt (UCL): "Cosmology with photometric quasar surveys" We hope to see as many of you as possible at 1400 on Dec 12th at the RAS as usual.
