Dear GEM colleagues,

engage is currently inviting expressions of interest from venues in England
to host a touring exhibition of artwork by children and young people in
2015-16.

As part of the national initiative Childrenšs Art Week, engage plan to tour
an exhibition of children and young peoplešs artwork from 2015-16, and
invite expressions of interest from venues in England to host the first
exhibition in 2015.

The exhibition will bring together examples of high quality children and
young people's artwork, and will link with Childrenšs Art Week - engagešs
UK-wide programme celebrating children and young people engaging with art
and artists, due to take place in June 2014 (tbc).

Any venue in England may express an interest in hosting the exhibition in
2015 e.g. a gallery, museum, visual arts or cultural venue, community venue
or school. Venues do not need to have hosted a touring exhibition before.
The deadline for registering expressions of interest is 10am on Friday 10
January 2014.

Plans for the exhibition have grown through discussion with education and
arts professionals who wish to support teachers and students to produce high
quality artwork, and to support teachers and students working with the new
National Curriculum in England.

Further information on the call and how to respond can be viewed on the
engage website at http://engage.org/CAWTouringExhibition.aspx and below this
email. Please do circulate this to any parties you think might be
interested.

With best wishes,
