Interesting question. None of the participants in my study declared they were indigenous were. nor were they excluded.  There is a lot of information traceable via the following websites www.aihw.gov.au/indigenous-observatory-disability/  +  www.aihw.gov.au/workarea/http://lowitja.org.au which refers to the Cooperative Research Centre established with the University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine. Dentistry & Health Sciences.   Prof Ian Anderson, aboriginal and doctor,  heads up the Murrup Barak Institute  www.murrupbarak.unimelb.edu.au

As a matter of interest, prompted by John Pilger's distressing new documentary 'Utopia', were any of the 10 disabled Victorians who took part in the study indigenous people? If not, is anyone aware of any studies of impairment, disability or aging within aboriginal communities?
