Exhibition Histories Talks: Thursday 23 January 2014

The fifth in our series of talks analysing and contextualising exhibitions through the personal accounts of the curators responsible for them, co-organised with the Whitechapel Gallery in London.

On Thursday 23 January 2014 Jasia Reichardt will be in conversation with Afterall’s David Morris. Reichardt will discuss how artistic developments of the 1950s anticipated her curatorial work during the 1960s on seminal exhibitions such as ‘Image in Progress’ (Grabowski Gallery, 1962), the first exhibition of British Pop Art in London; ‘Between Poetry and Painting’ (ICA, 1965), on concrete poetry; and ‘Cybernetic Serendipity’ (ICA, 1968), the first large-scale international exhibition of computer and electronic arts.
