Larry Eigner I value of course but he is not my cup of tea with the surfeit of adjectives and pronouns hard to swallow. But purely a personal quibble rather than a dismissal of Larry. Cid's work was leaner as well as sharper Jesse. His output vast of course - "OF" a classic but expensive. <br><br><br>Frank Samperi I rate very highly indeed but his scant in print situation is a disgrace. By now at least a volume one of a Samperi Collected should be in print. Dithering does Frank an injustice but suits  secondhand sellers which is sad. Zukofsky gave only Samperi his blessing as a worthy poet. <br><br><br>On Language poetry it promised loads but yielded far less than expected. All of us dear Jesse indeed have our flaws but it adds to the variety of opinions. Cid I recall with warmth and he had a far greater talent than others who will be remembered. <br><br>To be honest Jesse the  Objectivists now make me yawn and I wasted a lot of precious time studying their work. Having left their shadow is a liberation.<br><br><br>I send love to all in Japan and thanks for your kind reply which is in stark contrast to the silence of the sheep on these bleak islands. And take a look at the abstract of Corman&#39;s correspondence and you&#39;ll see 
Prynne writing in 1961 to Cid and Cid writing back and so it went on, but an 
absract proves nothing.

And your take on the Objectivists and Larry E., Sean, I find a bit baffling 
too.
