Larry Eigner I value of course but he is not my cup of tea with the surfeit of adjectives and pronouns hard to swallow. But purely a personal quibble rather than a dismissal of Larry. Cid's work was leaner as well as sharper Jesse. His output vast of course - "OF" a classic but expensive.
Frank Samperi I rate very highly indeed but his scant in print situation is a disgrace. By now at least a volume one of a Samperi Collected should be in print. Dithering does Frank an injustice but suits secondhand sellers which is sad. Zukofsky gave only Samperi his blessing as a worthy poet.
On Language poetry it promised loads but yielded far less than expected. Again just my own view.
