One of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies is looking for a Principal Statistician/Manager to provide scientific statistical support & advice,
working closely with Clinical, Medical and Data Operations team members. In this role you will represent Biostatistics on project teams, coordinates Biostatistics project related activities and develop plans and timelines for the statistical activity on delegated

Requirements;
• Provide scientific statistical input to development
plans and to project planning as needed.
• Provide study design recommendations and prepare
sample size calculations for Outline Protocols.
• Prepare statistical section for Clinical Study
Protocols.
• Generate randomization schedules for clinical
trials in accordance with protocols and maintaining security of schedules before and during the studies.
• Review Clinical Protocols.
• Provide input to the design of Case Report Forms
and review discrepancy/edit check specifications and approve Case Report Forms
• Prepare Statistical Analysis Plans.
• Interact with Statistical programmers regarding
programming requirements for analysis and reporting.
• Perform and Validate/QC statistical analysis.
• Prepare the statistical section of Topline and
Final Clinical Study Reports.
• Review Final Study Reports.
• Present and discuss results with internal/external
bodies as required.
• Lead project team meetings as needed.
• Generate and maintain study documentation.
• Attend and participate in project team meetings
Qualifications;
-Ideally, a PhD in Statistics or MSc or BSc degree and significant relevant experience.
- Extensive experience within either the pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare industry working with study teams to design, analyse and
report clinical trials.
- Demonstrated experience of leading a therapeutic area.
- Ability to manage projects effectively to ensure timely execution.
- Ability to translate complex information in a compelling way to engage key stakeholders
