Pop-Science is pleased to bring to the market a role of: *SENIOR BIOSTATISTICIAN* Type: Permanent Location: South East UK Salary: Up to £60k DOE *Some Home Working Available* A rare permanent opportunity with a specialist, clinical trials organisation in the South East\\ for a Senior Biostatistician. In this role, you will be working side by side with the company directors to provide operational statistical & programming services for projects under your remit. Many of their clients are long standing relationships, so, great client focus and commercial acumen will go a long way as well as being able to manage new accounts coming through. This role is full-time with some option to work from home 1-2 days per week although a preference will be given to candidates who are office based. You must have excellent written and spoken English skills with French or German being a plus although not essential. In this role, you will act as Senior Statistician to: - Prepare Statistical Analysis Plan; Tables, Figures and Listings specifications - Review SDTM specifications and datasets - Review and coordinate user acceptance test of Tables, Figures and Listings and other data presentations - Program and QC of Tables, Figures and Listings using SAS - manage more junior members of staff where necessary - liaise with clients both face to face and over the phone - Assist with bids and proposals as well as bid defense meetings - Represent the company to the highest standards at all times Education and Experience: - M.S or Ph.D. in Statistics or equivalent degree - Significant experience working as a Statistician ieither with a CRO, pharma or Biot - Experience using SAS essential - Good oral and written communication skills in English. - German and French skills are preferred although not essential - Able to clearly communicate statistical issues and methods to both statisticians/programmers and non statisticians/programmers - Able to interact across different functions and cultures - Accurate and keen eye for detail. - Good organizational and time management skills To apply, please email your Cv to [log in to unmask] or call 07769934133 for a confidential discussion.
