3 year Postdoctoral Researcher in Biostatistics Department of Biostatistics, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, University of Liverpool Salary: £31,331-36,298 pa The purpose of this post is to contribute to the statistical components of two recently awarded research projects in the areas of stem cells research and diabetic retinopathy. The successful candidate will contribute to: (a) the development of new statistical methodologies with applications in clinical research (b) the statistical design of laboratory-based experiments and data analysis to enable clinical translation and safe effective regenerative medicine therapies (c) the conduct of a randomised controlled trial and statistical analysis of a large longitudinal, multivariate dataset The candidate is expected to have experience in the management and analysis of data sets and in the use of statistical packages, as well as thorough knowledge of statistical methods. The post is available for 3 years initially.
