CONTRACT SENIOR STATISTICIAN
UK

Position:              Senior Statistician
Type:                   11 Months. Hourly Rate
Start date:           ASAP
Location:             UK / Home based will be considered

My client, a global pharmaceutical company require a senior statistician on a contract basis. The role will require the applicant to provide statistical expertise throughout a number of areas including design and interpretation of clinical studies, responsibility for some regulatory submissions as well as having input into the team processes and internal procedures.



Responsibilities

  *   Use of statistical skills to develop design process
  *   Analysis of both internal and external factors to help inform design decisions
  *   Knowledge of statistical processes related to regulatory submissions including knowledge of relevant documents
  *   Contribution to the development of statistical procedures that may help improve efficacy and quality within internal teams
  *   Leadership of small projects delegated through either manager or lead statistician
  *   Interact with members of the Biometrics team, giving input and advice when necessary and help to generate or enhance internal programming procedures
Experience, Skills, Knowledge

  *   Experience of more than one phase of the drug development process for both design and analysis
  *   Knowledge of study design for regulatory submissions
  *   Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written reports, data presentations and meetings as required.
Education/Qualifications


*        MSc or BSc in Medical Statistics or Statistics with relevant industry experience as a statistician are essential, PhD would be desirable with relevant industry experience.
