Hello Thanks for the many diverse and interesting responses. However I am, as I said, interested in the methods and results of burning in UK in 2001. In other words I am interested in the fuel required and, for example, whether the bodies were reduced to a charred or calcined state. On another email group I have been advised to contact the British authority DEFRA. I have now done this. Thanks.
