Hi,Just add one more question:How is SPM.xVol.FWHM calculated?Perform spm_est_smoothness on the 4D residuals?Thanks a lot!Best,Chao-GanOn Tue, Nov 5, 2013 at 10:32 AM, H. Nebl <[log in to unmask]> wrote:
According to this https://github.com/ddwagner/SPM8w/blob/master/SPM8w/spm8w_alphasim.m the ResMS.img should not be used, but the FWHM stored in SPM.xVol.FWHM .
For statistics with GLM Flex, I found a variable FWHM in I.mat. For a 2x2 within-subject ANOVA I have 4 different cells with three values each - I assume they correspond to the between-subject term, factor 1, factor 2, two-way interaction? For the given GLM Flex model the values are approx. 7 to 8 units, but I'm not sure whether they mean voxel units or mm.
Building coresponding contrasts on single-subject level and entering them into a second-level SPM one-sample t-test results in a SPM.xVol.FWHM of approx. 6 to 7 units, which is voxel units. SPM statistics output shows both voxel and mm values.
Comments are greatly appreciated!
Best,
Helmut
