Hillsborough Independent Panel will change the way police records are made
public - Liverpool Echo

The work of the Hillsborough Independent Panel will lead to a major change
in how police records are made public, the Home Office said.

Among the panel’s recommendations in September 2012 was for historical
records held by forces would be made available to view.

Now a working group is to be set up to consider the issue, looking at
various options which could increase transparency in future.
